London-based conceptual artist
The interests of my work emerge from aspects of the everyday, particularly the purchasing decisions that consumers make and the place that consumer choices occupy within the economy
By finding ways to function within the cracks of a system through manipulating methods of exchange within the ritual of purchasing commodities, I use the action of giving something and not expecting anything in return, to explore the possibility of failure or success.
The documentation element of my work is an act of storytelling aiming to communicate through recollecting, sharing and passing on. The narratives in the documentation of much of my work emerge from the crossing over between fact and fiction, and the area that exists between them.
